Service times, directions, and what to expect upon your first visit
We know meeting a community for the first time can be intimidating, and visiting a new church for the first time can be as well. We want to help make things easy as you consider visiting AAEC for the first time. Here's some important info about what happens on a Friday morning:
AAEC meets every weekend and offers two main services to choose from:
AAEC meets at the Evangelical Church Center, a church compound that shares a parking lot with Oasis Hospital. Click here for directions.
In total, an AAEC service is about 90 minutes in length. Services typically begin with a worship band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. At some point during worship, we give an opportunity to newcomers to introduce themselves, but don't feel any obligation or pressure to do this - we just love meeting our guests! Following worship, our senior pastor or guest speaker will share an encouraging message that points to our everlasting hope - Jesus.
Fridays at AAEC are high-energy, Christ-centered, and casual. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
We believe that children should learn about their Savior and have a blast doing it every single week - and at AAEC, this is a top priority. The other thing we value is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Friday School program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the AAEC Friday School experience. We offer curriculum for ages 3 through 12, and a nursery and toddler room for every child younger than that. Click here to learn more about the Children's Ministry.
